Bike Riding Weather!

We’ve taken a few bike rides lately. We took a new route and didn’t see this giant misalignment in the sidewalk and Ember hit it full speed and crashed badly. I keep a first aid kit on hand and was able to clean up her scraped elbow and hand and bandage her up. Before we took off again I had her sit on the “step” she rode into to remember her big crash. She didn’t even shed a tear, by the way. I was surprised. She just stood up, calmly stood while I cleaned her up, and then was on her way again!

Biking Day!

Today we went on a really long bike ride. And that’s all I took pictures of!

This is my Ember and I love her.

Everett really loves bike rides!

And so do I! It’s my favorite thing ever.

I was just happy that day because I’d just done a repair on my breaks and was happy to get out again after a week of not riding!

Payson wore his new Link outfit.

Happy kids.

We saw this van with lots of ladders on our ride and were amused. Seriously, look at all those ladders!

Sierra marries Leo?

So Sierra’s best friend is our neighbor and she has a pet dog named Leo. As a funny joke type thing the kids decided to create a wedding for Sierra and the dog, Leo. haha. Kids are so random!

They really planned things out and dressed up and even had flowers for Sierra. This was the bouquet toss.

The official wedding pictures. haha

And you’ll never ever guess what we did after! Except you probably could… a bike ride, of course!

Bike Love

You guys I’m nervous that my blog during the summer will turn into a big old shrine to bikes! I am so obsessed I can’t even handle myself. haha. It’s all I want to do, it’s my favorite hobby, my kids love it, it’s free (after buying the bike of course) and fun and good exercise and good outside time. Ugh, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE it!!

Brooke and Sierra love having new bikes that they can ride without risking their knees hitting their handlebars!

This is one of our two local neighborhood parks. The kids love this one and call it the “big slide park” because it’s tall with lots of long slides.

My 7th baby:

Before heading home we took some pictures in front of the park.

The kids gathered some little acorns to use to play with their toy trolls.

Ready for the ride home!
