Day One

Our new life in a new home and a new city! Woah. (We hadn’t found the box with our dishes quite yet so Ember got to have her water in a measuring cup.) photo 902eresized_zps15479c77.jpg

Everett never lets me put him down. photo 907eresized_zpscef5b00e.jpg

I’m so happy to be out of Nevada and out of the hotel that my lack of sleep, my back pain, Everett’s crankiness, none of it can lessen the joy I feel at having somewhere to settle. One very good way to find extreme happiness in your life is to go into a horrible situation. Everything in this “new life” felt like miraculous blessings! photo 911eresized_zpsdbe0456c.jpg photo 008eresized_zpsf0f9ff4d.jpg photo 037eresized_zpsc487bdaf.jpg photo 063eresized_zps64915d2c.jpg photo 089eresized_zps2fa067c2.jpg

We had Everett’s pack and play set up by this time but since it was in a new room he was too freaked out to sleep in it. I still laid him in it for a while each nap/bedtime so he’d get used to it but I’d end up holding him for his naps. photo 091bwresized_zpsb74687f4.jpg

The weather was beautiful so we hung out in our backyard for a while. photo 095eresized_zps3b0f9711.jpg photo 114eresized_zps245404c9.jpg photo 128eresized_zps07fccded.jpg photo 151eresized_zps586586e9.jpg
