We’re off!!
The kids are all in good moods!
Stopping for gas and to let the kids stretch!
Not too far into the drive Allan’s boat cover tore! I think that was mostly why we stopped at this particular gas station… just to take his cover off and throw it away in the dumpster there!
Since we were only bringing two cars worth of stuff with us (to last 9 months) we also loaded up what we could in Allan’s boat!
We thought it was funny that the cover ripped so easily. Allan had never used it but it came with his boat which he got from someone in Arizona… obviously the cover got burnt by being in the Arizona sun so long and was really brittle. We didn’t need it anyway since Allan always keeps his boat in the garage.
I was taking pictures of the other kids on that bar and turned the camera on Ember and this is what she did:
She’s such a goofball. I love her.
Then she and Payson hung out on this bar. Kids are so funny- climb on anything they see 🙂
A few hours later we stopped for lunch at a Burger King.
We let the kids play around for a while.
Allan showed Brooke where we were and where we were going on the map.
Oh I should probably mention I sat in the back by Everett during the entire trip. Brooke sat in the front seat by Allan.
This was over half way there and I was getting bored. So… play with the camera, right?
Entertaining the baby as best as I can in a car.
Stopping at a gas station across the street from the Welcome to Nevada sign.
Everett’s third state to live in in his 9 months of age!
It was starting to get dark. We were all excited to be getting closer to our new home! We got to the townhouses where we were going to stay and Allan unloaded mostly everything while I watched the kids (and held and breastfed Everett mostly) inside.
We didn’t have a bed for Everett so when he was getting super cranky we tried to lay him in this suitcase to see if he’d just hang out but… no. He did get a kick out of it at first though.
