Almost Caught Up!

I’m going to post the rest of the pictures I took before we all got sick right here in this post! photo 049eresized_zpsfcc9b76e.jpg photo 053eresized_zpsdca429fc.jpg photo 070eresized_zpsee911c6e.jpg photo 076eresized_zpsd5cb7123.jpg photo 099eresized_zpsaa99ccc0.jpg

There was a week where Everett was really cranky and clingy. photo 116eresized_zpscc1d4b76.jpg

Blowout diapers. Ugh. photo 120eresized_zpsa0af3e67.jpg

I never carry an extra outfit for Everett (I do NOW) so I took off my tank top and put that on him for the drive home. His carseat had so much poop on it. I scrubbed it down as good as I could with wipes. photo 141eresized_zpsb4fe863e.jpg

I took the kids to Cafe Rio for lunch one day. photo 145eresized_zps4c367a5d.jpg

My older girls had never tried horchata so I got them that. They loved it! photo 147eresized_zpsdfdddb15.jpg photo 149eresized_zpsd35c4b20.jpg

Grocery shopping at Sprouts. photo 164eresized_zpsd1a89bee.jpg photo 166eresized_zps5bd56fd9.jpg

Another day, another photo of clingy (but happy!) Everett 🙂 photo 016eresized_zpsee9e5ebd.jpg photo 033eresized_zpsd1e3a2aa.jpg

  • Ha! I remember the days of the dreaded poop blow outs! When I took my first son to his first doctor's appointment, I didn't bring the diaper bag because the doctor's office was just down the street. I had just changed him, so surely I wouldn't need to change him again in the short amount of time we'd be gone. (I know – duh!)

First, he peed all over himself and his outfit as soon as I undressed him in the room. I grabbed some paper towels and tried to quickly blot up the mess. Phew…thank goodness it was just pee, I thought. Then he proceeded to poop all over the diaper that was still under him. You may be thinking, “Luckily the diaper was still under him!”, but no…the poop oozed over the edge of the diaper and all over the outfit that was also still under him. Lovely. I had to admit to the nurse that I had no wipes, no extra diaper, no extra outfit…no anything. She was very sweet and nonjudgmental (on the outside anyway) and quickly provided me with wipes and a diaper. But I had to do the walk of shame out of the doctor's office carrying my practically naked baby. Oh…did I mention we also managed to lose one of his socks during the same visit? So technically, he was practically naked with the exception of a diaper and one sock. Needless to say, I was much more prepared after that day! 🙂
