Because Arizona Summer is Too Hot

We have to be creative with our time indoors. We get preeeeetty darn bored even having an outing every other day or so. I said recently that I don’t take many pictures of what we do indoors because I don’t find it interesting but realized that maybe I should. It’ll be interesting to some day be in a colder climate and looking back and think, wow- what a crazy life that was living in the desert!

It’s too hot to play outside: photo Untitled-1editresized_zpsd0cb87a8.jpg So I’ve set up some things to do in our playroom. Hopscotch and some… I don’t know what to call it. I have a zig zag path of tape and we put toys and bean bags along it to step over and stuff. The kids have to stay on the tape while walking forward and then backward and stepping over toys and then picking up other ones… I don’t know what that’s called. lol photo 160eresized_zps70bb1220.jpg photo 168eresized_zpsbedea935.jpg photo 174eresized_zps30bee5e3.jpg photo 178eresized_zps1c9825d9.jpg photo 182eresized_zpsc0cdee8a.jpg photo 190eresized_zps0b5f7f38.jpg photo 192eresized_zpsfb52a4f9.jpg

We do a lot of puzzles, too. All four of my kids love puzzles of any kind. photo 238eresized_zps562de8b4.jpg
