Carving Pumpkins

We bought pumpkins last week and carved them Sunday. PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

The kids colored their baby pumpkins while Allan carved the larger ones. PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

When Allan picked up the “mean” pumpkin to put it on the counter Ember was standing there, he showed it to her as he walked through the kitchen and she freaked out! She started running away and crying! Photobucket

My poor baby. We had to cuddle with her and talk to her about the pumpkins. She talked about them nonstop for several days after that! She’d point to the goofy one and say “nice” and point to the scarier one and say “scared” and she’d say that the scarier one says, “Rawr.” PhotobucketPhotobucket

Last year during the after Halloween clearance sales I let the kids pick out some costumes. We tried them on to see if they fit well this year. And yay, they do! PhotobucketPhotobucket

Allan joined in. PhotobucketPhotobucket

I bought this Strawberry Shortcake costume for Ember last year on clearance and it’s SO CUTE but she hates the wig so she’s going to wear Sierra’s old witch costume instead. PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

We’ve been playing with the costumes a lot this week. Photobucket
