Desert Walk

The power at Allan’s work went out yesterday so he came home at 6pm. Which is insanely early for him!

We went on a walk with the family since the weather was nice. Well, it was crazy humid and there were a thousand little bugs flying all over us but, well, I guess there is no but, it wasn’t a fun walk at all. haha! I think I’ll wait one more month to attempt a walk with four children. With Ember wanting to walk the whole time (and wandering and grabbing things more than actually following along) and then the two older girls running as far away from us as possible and Payson whining or crying the entire time (year 4 is not a good year for that boy) it just was a lot of work, rather than enjoyment.

Payson is so frustrating about clothes and shoes lately. I’ve mostly just given up with him ever being dressed appropriately. I don’t even care at all, either. I don’t care if he’s wearing a pajama shirt with rainboots or wearing socks with his sandals or church pants with a tshirt. I give up. Wear whatever the heck you want, child, just get dressed in something without crying about it.

The two pink dots in the distance are Brooklyn and Sierra.

When Ember wants me to come with her she always holds her hand out to me. It’s cute.
