And the Fatigue Sets In

The last day or two have been tough. Thank goodness everything but the master bedroom is unpacked and clean! Whew.

Allan wanted to go driving up to the pine areas this weekend and do a little hike and I just had to say no. I’m just too tired. Too, too tired.

Instead we’ll finish unpacking some boxes and hang up our curtains and I don’t know what else… lay around on the couch in exhaustion.

So my kids were playing the game Perfection the other day. It makes me laugh every single time. Hearing them telling each other to hurry up, a trace of panic in Brooklyn’s voice, and then the inevitable pop and their startled screams. haha! So funny.

At one point in the day I sat down to rest for a minute on my bed. I’d been working all day at this point and just didn’t want to stand for another minute…

As with every second of my life, the kids were hot on my heels, wanting attention…

Payson always gets a bit extreme with his kisses when I’m wearing lipstick. He loves having lipstick kiss marks. haha

Ember kisses me a thousand times a day so that’s not unusual, but when she saw Payson planting a kiss on me she sprinted over and enthusiastically kissed me, too.

Both Brooklyn and Sierra got kisses too but I didn’t take pictures of that. Then they continued reading one of our old Sonlight books.

And Ember kept hugging and kissing me the entire time we sat together on my bed 🙂
