I’m moving in three days! Woohoo!
I know moving is a boring subject to read about on blogs but I can’t help but at least say it once in every post! haha
This is something I’ve wanted for the past three years! And it’s happening in three days!
Today me and my kids got together with some friends from church. We’re very sad to leave our ward behind when we move 🙁
Tomorrow we’re meeting up with the same friends and some others to go swimming.
So where did we meet up today? Peter Piper Pizza. I have a love/hate relationship with that place. I like that it’s something fun to do in the sweltering heat of Arizona’s summer but I hate that we seem to get majorly ill after the kids play there no matter how much I wash their hands or use hand sanitizer 😛
Payson just came out of the bathroom with no pants on to whine to me about how hungry he is. Well maybe I’d give you dinner if you weren’t naked!
So after Peter Piper Pizza we stopped at KMart because they have some super cheap furniture there. I am so desperate for a table that at this point I really don’t even care what it looks like just let me eat somewhere other than the floor, please!
I took some pictures of the kids sitting at one in particular that looked nice so that Allan could see it. We’ve found some promising furniture items on craigslist but I’m worried they’ll be gone by the time we call. (Because the couch and loveseat set I really wanted on craigslist were taken within the first day!)
So, that is my riveting post. Sorry my life is really lame right now. I can’t promise any posts besides moving posts this week and I can’t actually even promise posts after Friday since I don’t know when we’ll get internet at the new place.
Yesterday I was making some good progress until Ember decided she wanted to be my sidekick for the rest of the day. I ended up spending the rest of the day playing with her and the other kids. I feel pretty good about that decision, even now.
My camera had been left on the bathroom counter from the day before when I took those pictures of her in the laundry basket so I was able to snap a picture. And then I realized with horror that I had like twenty minutes to attempt to tame this nasty mess of hair.
The table we’ll probably get. Just a simple little thing. Too dark for my taste but seriously, I’ve been sitting on the floor with the kids for months, I’ll take that table and love it forever! Or until I can afford a nice table in like ten or twenty years.
I randomly snapped this of her. I think this was about twenty seconds before she went into an uncontrollable rage. In 9 years of being a mother I’ve never had a child scream so much in a store. I booked it out of there immediately, of course, but boy were my ears ringing! Spitfire, this one.
