Ember is such a picky eater. I mean, she will eat a TON of whatever she’s wanting at that particular moment but it’s never consistent and she pretty much never wants more than one type of food at a time.
Like, last week she ate two servings of salad for every single meal. What was that all about? Weird.
And the week before she wanted spaghetti for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
And the week before that she only wanted meat or eggs all day.
And this week she’s alllll about cereal and bagels. (which normally she hates)
So I’ve just been going with it, thinking on a monthly basis rather than daily or even weekly! lol
She gets a week chalk full of veggies, a week of carbs, a week of protein, a week of fruit. That’s a balanced month, right??? Geez, I don’t know. But she’s pretty set on her eating habits so I just go along with it.
She breastfeeds a whole heck of a lot so at the very least she’s getting some nutrients that way. Add in whatever food she’s loving on that week and we’re ok. I’m a little worried about when she weans (because she loathes milk of any kind) but for now, it’s all ok.
