Allan and I spent almost every night for a week (maybe more) researching apartments and townhomes. We spent an entire weekend visiting apartments, too. It wasn’t the most fun, especially with four tag along kids, but we finally, finally found a good fit in a good area and are thrilled!
Brooklyn sitting in the living room of one of the apartments we looked at. Brooklyn is the one that is the most excited of all the kids about moving. She talks about it constantly, is really into looking at floorplans and going to visit these apartments and is just totally a ball of excited energy about this big change. (Though here she looks calm. Only because I told the kids if they weren’t loud and crazy I’d let them play my iPod. haha)
We were out most of the day so we stopped at Jack in the Box for lunch. Payson was crying because his taco kept falling apart. I kept showing him how to hold it so that it wouldn’t and he’d hold it that way for two seconds and then decide to trade hands and hold it the other way again and it would promptly fall apart. He did that like three or four times and cried loudly every time. And every single time I’d show him how to hold it and then he’d stop crying. But geez, that wasn’t the most pleasant ten minutes of my life.
