I have all of these children.

Do you ever have so much going on in your life that you can’t even possibly talk about it all without boring the person listening to tears?

That’s how my life is right now.

There are a lot of stressful things going on and a lot of uncertain things going on (all revolving around trying to move) and I feel incapable of talking or thinking about much else.

Watching Ember get excited over her siblings’ toys/games/books is really fun. Payson is closest in age and naturally she gravitates towards all of the things he does. She does spiderman poses and makes sound effects of spraying a web just like he does. She points out spiderman on book covers and toys… she gets it. Not because she really cares but because he does and she feels his excitement over it.

Which means, anything spiderman in the house is a hot commodity. She’s really good about not stealing his toys and also giving them back as soon as he’s aware she has them but if he’s not using them and doesn’t mind, she’s thrilled to play with them.

We played with that spiderman bat and ball for quite a while. It was the cutest. Well, every thing the child does is the cutest so naturally… it was the cutest šŸ˜‰

At first she watched Allan and me playing with it and then we handed the bat to her and I helped her swing and hit the ball. She erupted in happy squeals. Then we let her hold the bat on her own and Allan aimed to throw the ball right at the bat so it’d bounce of, she gets excited and laughs. Then we had her throw the ball to one of us with the bat. I don’t think she stopped smiling once for like twenty minutes straight of this. Laughing, squealing, clapping… my child is sunshine for the soul.

She still gets into the dishwasher every single day.

Allan was hit with our stomach upset stuff today. He worked from home, locked away in our bedroom most of the day. Occasionally I needed something from the room and I’d bring Ember in with me (she doesn’t like to be away from me ever) and she point to Allan and just smile and laugh like crazy. She adores her daddy.

She thought our bedding piled on the floor looked like a nice place to play.

Ember. Is. The. Cutest. (I’m sorry but I love this child so freaking much!)

Payson and I were playing some games (mostly I was chasing him and catching him and tickling him, he has the BEST laugh!) and he randomly says to take a picture of him posing like this on the ground. It was supposed to be a spiderman pose, of course. He’s hilarious.

And the girls wanted some of that attention so they started doing all kinds of poses, too. They did a really good job and wanted their pictures taken. And then they all ran off pretend fighting each other like spiderman characters.

Payson has been obsessed with taking his food out of the kitchen lately. We have a super strict rule that food does not ever leave the kitchen and it bothers me a lot that he does so 100% of the time now. Today I was so frustrated by his getting up and leaving the kitchen over and over and over while I was standing right there that I finally stuck him in Ember’s high chair. And I’m going to keep putting him in there for every meal, too!

And then of course he was ultra adorable in there šŸ˜›

These two are so cute together, they love to share their food with each other. (Most of the time, anyway)
