Library Books

It’s probably weird that I love going back through my blog and looking at what books we were reading when. Of course I end up rechecking them out so it’s not that weird.
I’ve missed taking my books pictures. So I’m going to start again. I have a running list in word of like 500 books that I want to read my kids eventually. I think that’s achievable with how much we read!

So we got home and I stacked the books on the column by our front door and would take one off the top and read it and then toss it to the ground when we finished. By the end of our little (long) reading session this is what it looked like:

The books we got this week:

I got 45 great books. I bet you’ll never guess what Payson’s favorite two were!

Until we go back to the library I’m keeping the books here on our bookshelf.

We got this book for free while we were there.

We checked out a lot of books we’ve read a lot already. We certainly have favorites.

When the girls got home from school we brought over some of the not-as-preschoolish books to my bed and read them all.

The little kids were ruining it, though. They wanted to sit on my lap, sit on the books, sit on each other, sit where their sister was, sit where their brother was, mommmmmyyyyy I want to sit THERE, and take the books and throw the books, and and…

But we got them all read and the girls loved it. We’ll reread them today and a few times again this week before returning them. I think I might go back to the library on Tuesday, though. I really have some other books I want to get! haha
