These Days

The doctor at urgent care lanced Brooklyn’s swollen bite. He said it was a spider bite and poked it and drained the pus and put antibiotic ointment on her and sent her home with the same that we could reapply when needed. He said it’ll be fine and she only needs to go to the doctor if the wound gets larger or darker.

The urgent care gives a beanie baby to each child. She was thrilled and picked out this cat.

Allan most definitely has strep throat. He’s really, really sick. He started antibiotics right away and slept almost an entire day but doesn’t really feel all that much better even today. Here’s my poor little patient-

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and moody… I’m tired. haha. Of course.
During a particular bad mood yesterday I decided to go out and sit on a blanket outside to try to cheer myself up. The kids all joined me very shortly after and when kids are around… well things aren’t peaceful. ha

Helping Sierra with her homework. She had another test come back home. She’s had I think like twenty tests so far and she’s got 100% on every single one. Smartie pants πŸ™‚

We took our curtains down because they weren’t the nicest for showing our house. I was starting to feel crazy with that blasted Arizona sun burning my eyeballs out while I tried to cook dinner. Two tacs and one sheet later and all was right in the world.

We had a showing this morning so I was banished from my house for an hour. We went to WalMart for diapers and some other things. The little kids were in a good mood and Allan came since he was home sick from work.

Payson has a really bad sore on his pinky so I wrapped it up with gauze and ointment and a bandaid and told him not to touch it. He wanted to eat oranges so I put a doctor’s glove over it.

  • Isn't it just BEYOND CRAZY how you guys have had one illness after another after another after another?! I know it's not crazy in a funny way (at all!) but….worst. luck. ever. Poor you!
I love the faces that Payson is making in the shopping cart pics. Hudson can not make a normal face or a normal smile at the camera right now. πŸ™‚ I think all our kids would be so cute together and have so much fun if we ever met up!
