We had a playgroup meeting at a park this morning with our friends. I went to the wrong park and didn’t have a cellphone (I’m really debating getting one!) so had no way to call my friend to tell her. All the parks we meet up at are more than a half hour from our houses so it wouldn’t have done any good driving home and calling her, either. So to cheer my kids up over missing their morning spent with friends I took them to McDonald’s to play.
I got Ember her very own happy meal and she loved it. Of course she only actually ate a few fries and drank her juice (the other kids ate the rest) but she loved it. When we put some of the food in front of her and gave her her My Little Pony toy she was SO excited! Adorable ♥♥♥
She loved the little kid area and spent a lot of time there but she also went into the big kid area a lot, too. She climbed up quite a ways. It made me nervous actually because the place was PACKED and big kids were running up and down the stairs without caring if they knocked her over.
All three older kids had to pee at the same time. I freaking hate public bathrooms. I washed Ember’s hands since she’d been playing in the playplace. They didn’t have paper towels, only hand dryers, and she was thrilled over that! So different than Sierra who was terrified of them for the first four years of her life.
That little girl in the background of this picture was wearing a similar outfit to Ember and I thought that was fun. Both had dark pink shirts, zebra leggings and dark pink shoes! That little boy smiling at Ember was really in love with her. He followed her around and hugged her a lot.
