January and February were some of the worst months of my life! But I’m still holding out hope that March will turn around. I mean, it’s my birth month for crying out loud! How cruel can the universe be that March would suck as much as the rest of this year has?
We went to the doctor today. He told me Payson has a double ear infection and his lungs sound REALLY bad. He’s on some antibiotics now.
I have so very much I want to vent about besides dealing with illnesses and all that. But I shouldn’t. But I want to!
Last night I grudgingly pulled out a bunch of our boxes that were stored away (for selling the house) and dug through to find costumes for the girls. Today was book character day at school and Brooklyn wanted to be ladybug girl (her obsession with her ladybug costume continues) and Sierra wanted to be strawberry shortcake. It took forever (probably a half hour) to track down all the right boxes filled with the right pieces to their outfits.
Ember caught sight of the costumes and excitedly brought me random piece by random piece for me to dress her up. It’s so cute that she has loved dress up stuff since she was a very little baby, from watching her big sisters ♥
This morning Sierra decided she thought the strawberry shortcake costume was too much and she might feel embarrassed wearing it to school. She decided on a fairy princess outfit. I didn’t care all that much either way, she looks cute in anything.
The school nurse called around 11am and told me Brooklyn needed to be picked up because of her pink eye. She’s missed two days of school for it and her eyes don’t look that bad and she doesn’t touch them and I gave her strict instructions to wash her hands if she ever did touch them but I guess that’s not good enough for the school. The school that gave my entire family pink eye in the first place. haha :S
We picked her up and she came to the doctor with us.
After the doctor we went and dropped off Payson’s prescription at Walgreen’s and then went and picked up Sierra.
We came home and I gave the kids popsicles and sent them outside. Well, not Ember, she’s been inside with me.
It was such a long day! There were a million other things that happened and so much stress dealing with it all but it’d be extremely boring to read about it, I’m sure.
