Santa! I know him!
Because Allan had to go to South America the week before Christmas week I decided to go ahead and take the kids to see Santa by myself. It was the best trip! We had about a two hour wait with a fast pass thing (I think I may go to the mall next year and avoid that!) so we shopped for Allan while we waited.
When the kids met Santa they were really sweet and outgoing. Payson walked right up to him and said, “Hi Santa!” And when Ember was on his lap she just sat looking at him. She even smiled when the lady at the camera rang a bell but the lady taking the picture took it a second too late. No problem though, all four kids were looking!
The kids spotted the snowman right away and Brooklyn wanted me to take their picture with him. They said it was Frosty. They’d just watched the cartoon Frosty the snowman for the first time the day before.
They had this sectioned off area with stuffed snowballs and the kids could have a fake snowball fight. Since we were in line I said we’d do it after but then I forgot. But even if I had remembered we’d probably have skipped it because by the time we saw Santa and played the other games it’d been two hours and they were hungry.
