Grandma D’s Birthday Package for the Kids!

I didn’t tell them that grandma sent a package. When I heard the mail truck outside I told Brooklyn to come to the door because there was, “Probably something exciting coming in the mail.”

When I brought the box in I set it on the ground and asked her who it was for. She read her name on the side and started jumping up and down. I asked who sent it and she read grandma D and papa Milo! She jumped up and down more and squealed happily about how she didn’t even know a package was coming! She thought she’d get a card like last year. She almost fell over in excitement.

Sierra and Payson and Ember all got gifts, too. When they realized there was stuff for them as well, Sierra and Payson both got huge eyes and smiles.

My gosh my kids needed new clothes. And these outfits are so cute. Honest to goodness Brooklyn wore that pink tank top for three days straight. I let her, as long as shirts don’t have giant spills on them I let them wear whatever they want. And that is one cute shirt to wear three days in a row! 😉

Poor, poor, poor Sierra. She looks awful in 95% of the pictures she’s in. I have no idea why but she is always blinking in them! Her eyes look like she’s on drugs. I decided to lessen the humiliation but still share a cute picture (in this case of Brooklyn) I’d simply cover up her druggy eyes. lol

Candy!

It was funny because the first five or ten minutes of opening the package was so loud. They were all talking to me and screaming and squealing and it was a bit nuts. Then there was virtual silence as they ate piece after piece of candy. lol! (I let them eat about five pieces and they had a couple more after dinner!)

They finished off the last piece I let them have while I cleaned up the mess.

The girls got new jump ropes.

I taught them and we played together until Brooklyn could actually do it! She’s been trying for the past two years with no luck despite many attempts and practices with me. For some reason this day when I showed her and we practiced she got it. She was over the moon happy about it.

(In this picture the girls were hysterical over trying to flip and turn the rope and make the other sister’s arm move)

Ember woke up at the very end. She was still groggy but in a good mood. She didn’t even mind me trying her new dress on her.

I have a video, it’s mostly for grandma because it’s barely edited down, so quite lengthy.
