Sierra’s 5th Birthday Celebration

So my little Sierra Michelle is 5 years old!

The first thing we did on Saturday morning is start on her cake. Usually I make the cake and surprise the kids but I thought Sierra would really like helping out.

After baking the cake I took Sierra to the movies to see Tangled.

During the movie she reached over and rubbed my arm and leaned her head against me and smiled up at me. She was loving everything about being on a mommy-daughter date.

She laughed through the entire thing. We’ll be buying this one as soon as it comes out on DVD!

Sierra wore her Tangled birthday badge all day. She kept looking at it and showing everyone. She loves that thing. And after her birthday was over she pinned it to her favorite stuffed puppy named Tutu.

I snapped a couple pictures outside the movie theater just because my two littlest girls are so dang cute. (Yep, Ember crashed my and Sierra’s date- she refuses a bottle so she can’t be left at home!)

We got home and I started back to work on the cake. We also started making dinner. Allan’s parents came over, too. All the kids were excited to see grandpa and grandma!

When the cake was ready I took a few pictures before putting it in the fridge.

Brooklyn wanted to be in a picture with Sierra, too. She was just as excited about the cake!

Dinner eventually was ready and we all ate. As soon as dinner was over Sierra wanted to do cake so we lit the candles.

It was yummy.

I’ve seen this rainbow cake in what seems like a hundred places online. When Sierra asked me a month ago for a “My Little Pony rainbow cake” I knew I wanted to try it.

And then she opened her presents!
