Fall Nature Walk

The last thing we did for Sierra’s first week of Kindergarten was a nature walk to look for signs of fall.
Before the nature walk I read her a book called “Desert Seasons” since obviously here in Arizona we don’t get “real” seasons! I was hoping she wouldn’t be too disappointed in the lack of changing leaf colors and cool weather 😉

Things she said during the walk:
“Fall in Arizona is like summer.”
“I don’t think Arizona gets fall.”
“It’s too hot. Let’s go inside.”

It was fun, though. For being 100 degrees at 9am, that is.
(I love that I got my house in the background from this view. It’s the one at the end of the path there, to the left of Payson)
