The Girls

I’ve been reading a lot about children in my bible lately. About children and motherhood and womanhood. I’ve read so many great things.
As I was editing these pictures of my daughters those scriptures came to mind.

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Am I a lucky woman or what?

I mean, that smile. How sweet is she?

Two beautiful daughters.

Two beautiful but very different daughters.

Sweet, silly, funny, wild.

Best friends.

Sisters.

Forever.

  • With raging pregnancy hormones this truly made me tear up! I have 2 daughters… 2 different daughters. One 4 1/2 and one 20 months… And the younger one is FINALLY starting to come around and love her older sister. My older one has completely adored her baby sister since the day she was born. And now I found out I am having yet another daughter. I dream that they will all be the best of friends! As I arrange the room to accomodate 3 girls I think about it a lot! Staying up, giggling, sharing secrets!

P.S. Brooklyn's hair is getting sooo long and Sierra is completely adorable!
