In My Arms

This lovely blogger posted about an amazing song you can hear here. As I listened I cried and ached for things to never change.

Plumb
In My Arms

Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curly cues
Your contagious smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight
Knowing

Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Story books
Are full of fairytales
Of kings and queens
And the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You’ll someday see
The truth from lies

Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Cause I will always
Always love you

Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

In my arms

  • They play this song on the KSBJ here in town & I always get goosebumps everytime I hear it. There is something about it, something so soothing… just reading the words gets me!

Thank you! Thank you! for posting… I hope everyone will take a few minutes and listen to it.

  • Ariana, have you never heard of Plumb? I bet you would love all their music. They have been one of my favorite bands for about the last 12 years!

  • This song does it to me every time. They have other songs I'll be you'd love just as much as this one. I used to have this one on my myspace page (back when I did myspace) and I would just sit there and listen to it play over and over. I played it for Tim once and he teared up like a baby too. It's an intense tear jerker for sure.

  • Jeremy's mom bought me the CD with this song on it the Mother's Day before I had Oren. It never fails to make me cry. I sing this to him all the time. You should check out her CD. πŸ™‚

  • This is a sweet way to define childhood! Storms and dreams- but always worth those “poopy” kind of days aforementioned! LOL!

I had five of you and that never happened once to me! You are such the tropper. I would have cried!
