Fallen tree, payson toddling

Last night we had some awesome thunder storms. Allan and I sat out on our back porch watching the lightning, feeling the rain and wind and smelling that unique wet desert smell.

This morning we were surprised to find one of our trees had been knocked over. The wind hadn’t felt that strong.

After Payson has his morning bottle I took a little video to show his walking.

The girls were pretending to play musical instruments.

  • awwwww!! I love it when they first start to toddle around! SO CUTE! He's all over the place now isn't he?! πŸ˜‰ This was such a sweet video! I love to hear Brooklyn giggle πŸ˜‰ I noticed this was posted with vimeo instead of youtube…do you like doing it that way better?

OH and I forgot that I never responded to you about Rusty's tattoo! He actually has 2 (one on each arm) and he HATES them! lol He got them when he was right out of high school and he regrets it now, especially what they are! lol One is a dragon and the other one is a panther with wings! lol… goofy stuff πŸ˜‰ He talks about wanting to have them removed all the time. They don't bother me at all though!

  • You are changing your blog up as I type this! Just wanted to say I love what you are doing so far! I SO wish that I had the time to fix up my blog!!!!! I want to be able to do that for my personal blog and I really want to create a new business blog to showcase client sessions for them, but I'm already stretched so thin…I have no idea if I will ever get around to that!!! Maybe one day!! πŸ˜‰

  • Love your new topper on the blog, so cute! Payson is just adorable with his new toddling πŸ™‚ What a fun phase for you all to be enjoying. I am sure he'll be keeping you on your toes even more now.

Love the girls creativity with their musical skills too πŸ™‚

  • Yay! Go Payson! I can't believe how well he is getting around and he isn't even a year! None of my kids were even close to walking @ his age!

  • wow! he is good! and so little to be walking so well. I have to admit, I'm glad asher isn't walking yet or I'd be in real trouble trying to get packed for our move.

  • I'm so jealous of Payson walking. Eli was doing pretty good then he fell down the steps and hurt his leg/foot and now he's scared. I'm so ready for him to walking. I loved watching him toddle around. He does it quite well!

  • Payson is so good at walking! And he's so young! Super cute video. :)Your kids look so different. They are totally growing up.

  • I'm sorry about your tree. That stinks.

I can't believe how well he walks! I swear when I watch him it's like I'm looking at a baby at least 4-5 months older than Cayden, not two weeks younger.

Cayden is probably 1/3 Payson's size and he's still content to just cruise along furniture and crawl around. And actually, he even prefers for me to just carry him everywhere still. He'd sit on my hip all day long if I let him. I'll have to show him that video to give him some inspiration.

So, over here we are impressed by all that Payson can do. He's so cute while doing it too. It's exciting to see how much he's grown over the past year.
